The Land of Plenteeh - Part Jeloh

I was having a splendid dinner with my friends 9k kms away. Beautiful Restaurant. Nice weather. Wonderful Place. The best part of it, it's all under account expense. He he. (go ahead Jo, charge do as you wish..)

Suddenly the Chokia went "thooot, thoooooot". The standard Chokia tone for incoming message. Hmm,.one from Maam.

It read "Anne dapat 2A..."

Slowly readin' thru the line, my heart sank. Walaupun sedikit, ia tenggelam. Perlahan-lahan. Walaupun dalam hati berkata, "Alaah,. nii baru permulaan ajer.." Hatiku malap dan berasa payau.

The food started to be tasteless. The Mango juice tasted sour and I missed Anne. I wished I was back in KD, and hug her there and then.

It looks delicous pulak sekarang.. ?



It came with Greek Salad and Herb breads..

    All is not lost I hope. Nadia didn't fare so well either (2A,...). What I told her,this is a start of a long journey and the most important part is that she should learn something from this episode and move on.

    Cakap kat Anne - having all As is not THE only road to success in life. It does helps, though to makes the journey easier.

    Sometimes I wished our education system is not too exam-centric. It causes (unneccessary) stress to children (and parents). Baca kisah the girl who hanged herself bcos she fared badly in her UPSR makes me very very sad.

  • salam...kesian kat anne, jgn tunjuk rasa terkilan but be firm that you know she can do better...dulu masa upsr tak dpt 5A(time tu 5 subject), dhlan jadi murid harapan..bila pergi sekolah...tengok cikgu dah geleng kepala ngan muka sedih...rasa runtuh je langit. Terbayang muka sedih mak ayah...yg lagi sedih yg 1B tu BM, dh baik ngan cikgu tu... tapi alhamdulilah...here I'm ..so its just d beginning...ada hikmah..nanti dpt straight A dh rasa terror sgt, tanak usaha plak for PMR, SPM..

  • whatever milestone a child experiences, is a huge leap in his/her life, and not by any chance measured by As or scores. cuba kaji dalam2, 2A tu hanya hiasan...tengok Anne betul-betul, u akan perasan, Anne has grown up by leaps and bounds.

    abt hiasan makanan yang merupakan godaan yg maha zalim untuk mak2 buyung seperti saya...argh!!! sexynya lobster!

    Yesterday pergi melawat kawan ITM meninggal dunia coz' of dengue berdarah. Anak2 masih di ICU masa emak dikebumikan .. Al-fatihah. ... lagi sedih ... :(
